AHA Fruit Acids
Price: 1200kr
Duration: 90min.
AHA (alpha-hydroxy acids) are one of the most well-known and effective methods for improving skin condition. This treatment works on multiple levels: exfoliating dead skin cells, accelerating epidermal renewal, cleaning pores, and helping to fight hyperpigmentation, acne, and the first signs of aging.
What the treatment involves?
The procedure starts with a thorough cleansing of the skin, preparing it for the application of acids—usually mixtures based on glycolic, lactic, mandelic, or citric acid, at an appropriately selected concentration. These substances loosen the bonds between epidermal cells, allowing for controlled and even exfoliation.
Who is it for?
This treatment is designed for individuals with:
- Enlarged pores and impurities
- Sun or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
- Oily, acne-prone skin with blemishes
- The first signs of aging (fine wrinkles, loss of radiance)
Effects after the treatment:
- Deeply cleansed and smoothed skin
- Reduced pore size and imperfections
- Lightened hyperpigmentation and even skin tone
- Firmed and refreshed complexion
- Increased skin regeneration capacity
Contraindications:
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Active inflammatory changes, wounds, herpes
- Very sensitive or allergic skin
- Oral retinoid therapy (min. 6 months gap)
- Freshly tanned skin or sunbed use
- Active skin diseases (e.g., psoriasis, atopic dermatitis)
Important before the treatment:
- Avoid sun exposure for one week prior
- Discontinue retinol, acids, Vitamin C, and mechanical peels at least 3–5 days before
- Do not undergo other cosmetic treatments 3 days prior
- Skin should be dry, without irritation or wounds
Treatment recommendations:
The treatment is best done in a series, especially for acne or discoloration problems. After the treatment, use high sun protection (SPF 50) and avoid sun exposure for several days.
